Photon ermittelt PV-Zubau von 2 Gigawatt im Jahr 2008
Berlin - Im vergangenen Jahr wurden in Deutschland Solarstromanlagen mit einer Gesamtleistung von mindestens 1.933 MW neu installiert (2007: 1.244 MW). Der Zubau fiel diesen Zahlen zufolge stärker aus als prognostiziert wurde. Dies ist das Ergebnis der jährlichen Erhebung des Solarstrom-Magazins PHOTON unter den 850 Netzbetreibern in Deutschland. Für 2009 geht PHOTON von einem Zubau zwischen 3.000 und 4.000 MW und liegt damit über den bisher bekannten Zahlen der Bundesnetzagentur. Die vom Bundesumweltministerium in Auftrag gegebene „Leitstudie 2008“ ging noch von einem Zubau von 1.250 Megawatt im Jahr 2008 aus. Für 2009 wurde ein Zubau von 1.300 Megawatt erwartet.
Diese Prognose liegt nach Ansicht von Photon bei weitem zu niedrig, wie bereits die im Oktober von der Bundesnetzagentur veröffentlichten Zahlen aus dem so genannten Anlagenregister zeigten: Demnach wurden von Januar bis September 2009 bereits knapp 1.500 Megawatt neu ans Netz gebracht. Auf Basis einer Stichprobe unter 119 Netzbetreibern sowie Informationen von Wechselrichterherstellern geht PHOTON nun davon aus, dass auch diese Statistik die tatsächlichen Verhältnisse nicht korrekt abbildet. Das Solarstrom-Magazin schätzt die Gesamtleistung der von Januar bis Dezember 2009 in Deutschland neu installierten Photovoltaikanlagen vielmehr auf 3.000 bis 4.000 Megawatt.
Die insgesamt in Deutschland installierte Leistung könnte damit nach Angaben des Magazins zum Jahresende die Marke von zehn GW erreichen. Die Stromproduktion aus diesen Anlagen – rund zehn Terawattstunden – entspräche einem Atomkraftwerk wie Biblis A. Solarstrom könnte so im nächsten Jahr bereits knapp zwei Prozent des deutschen Stromverbrauchs decken.
